Who Are We ?

UMIGuard was founded by a team of passionate undergraduate students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TARUMT), Penang, Malaysia. 

It began as a student project and soon grew into something more — a mission-driven startup built on innovation, teamwork, and the desire to create real impact.

What's Our Purpose ?

Our founding team came together not just to invent a product, but to rethink how technology can serve people in everyday situations, especially in urban environments. 

With diverse skills in electronics, software, and design, our team shares a common goal

What We Believe ?

At UMIGuard, we believe that technology should be human-centered — designed not to impress, but to improve lives. 

Our name, short for Urban Mobility and Innovation Guardian, reflects this purpose. 

We aim to protect and empower people as they navigate the challenges of modern cities — whether it’s staying safe in bad weather, managing daily routines, or simply moving through crowded environments with more confidence.

Our strength lies in creative thinking, technical expertise, and the courage to challenge what’s “good enough.” 

We don't see ourselves as just product developers.
